This catapult kit is created from a design of Leonardo da Vinci, who sketched it based on Medieval catapult designs. Once you have the catapult assembled, try launching different things from it, and see what will go the farthest. Or just take it outside for a little siege action. It can throw small items at least 15 feet!

This kit comes with everything you need to build one working catapult- all the wooden pieces, glue, rope, and crystal-clear instructions. The catapult itself is quite sturdy; each piece is pegged together with wooden dowels  giving it more stability then if it was simply glued. The brain child of a high school science teacher, this kit is designed to both educate and entertain.
